WWS weekend update

The DUNN County Fish and Game Association's 65th Annual Ice Fishing Contest is happening right now - Saturday, Feb. 10th - 11:00am to 3:00pm. Between I-94 and Hwy. 25 Bridges on Lake Menomin - Menomonie, Wisconsin.

Duke is treasurer of the Menomonie Rifle and Pistol Club, also teaching hunter safety courses for many years.

 Duke will be teaching a children's Muzzleloader Shoot class on Saturday, August 11th and hosting a 'Woman on Target' event on Saturday, September 22nd. Check the DCFGA website for more information, when it becomes available.

Check out the Special Olympics Polar Plunge on Lake Menomin - 'Freezin' for a Reason' -  Wakanda Park  - Saturday  - 11:00am - 3:00pm:

Parking available in City Lot #2 behind the Menomonie Visitor Center and in UW-Stout (Lot #1) across the street.

FREE shuttle to the 'Plunge site' at Wakanda Park with curbside drop-off.
11:00am. – early check-in inside the registration tent
12:00 noon – plunging begins! Enjoy food, beer, hot cocoa, music and more inside heated entertainment tent.
Last year over 40K was raised by 200 individuals for Indianhead Region Special Olympics.
