In other D-III basketball news - from WIAC website (2/28): ALLWIAC selections
UW-Whitewater g/ Andre Brown #14 (Jr.- Kenosha/WI) earned first team ALL-WIAC honors. Brown paced the squad in season scoring (379pts) averaging 15.2 points per match, grabbing 90 rebounds, with 63 assists.
UW-W guard Derek Rongstad #23 (Jr.- Middleton/WI) and guard David Sachs #10 (Jr.-Highland Park/IL) earned honorable mention.
Rongstad was also named to the WIAC All-Defensive Team for the 2nd consecutive year, nabbing 128 defensive boards with 5 blocked shots and 29 steals.
Sachs scored 295 points with 84 rebounds in 25 game starts.
